Small, lightweight SLM

A small language model designed to be light enough to run where big models can't.

Lite is about size first. The question it's trying to answer: how useful can a model be when it's small enough to run cheaply and locally?

It builds on what I learned making JittalSLM, an educational small language model.

Honest status

Lite is in development. There are no public weights or benchmarks yet, and I won't publish numbers until they're real.
